GICU Named Best Credit Union in Des Moines for Millennials

The Ascent, a subsidiary of Motley Fool, named Greater Iowa Credit Union as the best credit union in Des Moines for millennials.
“[Greater Iowa Credit Union] is one of the best credit unions we have ever come across,” said the editorial staff for The Ascent. “It covers all of your banking needs and offers unique perks and discounts. On top of that, Greater Iowa Credit Union continues to look for ways to reinvest in local communities.”
The Ascent ranked Midwest cities based on cost of living, home prices, and insurance premiums. The city’s social equity was also evaluated which included ratings on equality, neighborliness, labor, pay, sustainability, public transit, and healthcare cost. Financial institutions were selected based on a variety of data points, including interest rates, customer service, fees, geography, and product offerings.
